Special Olympics skaters are participating in the international Finlandia Trophy figure skating event in Espoo for the fourth time. This time, the Special Olympics competition will take place on Sunday, instead of Thursday, before the Ice Dance Free Dance and the Women’s Free skating. This is the only Challenger Series competitions which includes Special Olympics.

Ten skaters from four countries are participating in the series: Iceland, Latvia, the Czech Republic, and the host country, Finland.
